More info on Seeing

Seeing is a local fundraising group supporting people with a sight loss in Torbay and South Devon.  Many of the group were the ‘old’ Knockout committee, reformed, re-branded and re-launched after the closure of RNIB Manor House, Torquay and now raising funds locally to support visually impaired people.

Seeing have helped to finance and support specialist IT lessons for blind and partially sighted people at Inverteign Family Learning Centre in Teignmouth, additionally we have given financial support to the Disabled Sailing Association in Torbay, who have many visually impaired members.

Mission:
To support and raise funds for organisations located in South Devon and Torbay which provide services and support to people with sight loss.

To support full and equal integration in society of blind and partially sighted people and to promote visual awareness in the community.
