Hi!

Live Music at Carnival

Torbay Carnival will be from 27th July to 3rd August on Paignton Green.

Live music on the Green in 2006

Torbay Carnival Week is keen to support local musicians
so we have 4 nights of great music for you to enjoy this year.

Relax in the beer garden, ride the fairground, try a tasty burger as you enjoy the music.

Rock with The Cadence - opening ceremony 27th July

Are you a big supporter of live music?

Love it even better if it’s free?

Well join us on Paignton Green during Torbay Centenary Carnival Week and hear some of the best local talented musicians play!

On Sunday we have The Cadence rocking the opening of Centenary Carnival, following their gig at the Torbay Carnival Ball (Oldway Mansion - Friday 25 July) whilst on Tuesday evening, we have a refreshing change with the orchestral sounds from Classic Breeze, prior to the Fireworks by music, culminating in 100 maroons.

Thursday evening is Bikers Night with live music from Morph supported by 4 Rocks Sake - over 3 hours of music guaranteed to have you rocking. Come along and support your local bands whilst enjoying the stunning machines lined up along the sea.

Friday night we have Boogie Knights – playing disco/funk and dressed to kill! Why not come dressed as your favourite 70s disco diva and join the fun? They are supported by The Quails.

On Saturday we have the wonderful Shake, Rattle & Soul playing a mix of soul, swing and funk. They are supported by local band The Iconyx. For those that need a little confidence to boogie, a bar is available on the Green from Thursday to Saturday night.

So come along and join us – pretend you are taking in the fresh sea air and lose yourself in your best air guitar impression.

Whilst enjoying the music Torbay Carnival provides for you, please help support Carnival and local charities by donating whatever you can to our voluntary collectors.
